I am an Assyrian from Iran. Sumerian, Akkadians, Amorites, Assyrian, Babylonian.. are all blood related.

Honestly the content on your channel is very humbling, and should make us all appreciate how short sighted most of our thinking about the world is.

Very entertaining & nice to hear Saggs mentioned. I was 12 when my dad took me to the British Museum & can still remember the awe at their Assyrian Collection of sculptures especially the huge lamassu to me at least they were far more interesting than Egyptian mummies or the Elgin Marbles. Excellent narration & research.

Thank you for your work and high production values. I do hope that your channel catches on. While the legendary history may not be very accurate, it often captures how the people think of themselves.

Doood! This videos series is under-rated
  • I would have really appreciated some on screen text such as name spellings, years, and other info that could complement the narration

One thing about living within an area enclosed by a big empire is, you could say in that language, "The current emperor sucks." and get away with it. Especially you are in one part and the emperor is thousands of miles away.
  • "Well that's how an Italian friend described it to me." HEY-OH! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
