The tiger girl makes me think of an oc I've story boarded called Alice the Reaper. Similar case, her village was massacred, but by monsters. Alice was one of the defenders, she fights to the very end, watching her mates and fellow villagers get torn apart. She ends up as the last one, and end a last ditch effort to take down as many monsters as she can, she injects herself with a drug that can potentially kill her at the low possibility she survives, she will be granted inhuman strenght endurance etc. She survives the injection and gets stronger, but its not enough. A dragon was herding the monsters all along, and he decides to have fun with her. In a very dark way I wouldn't wish on anyone. Her now stronger body withstands the pain, but with the injection flowing through her veins, the intense pain that she can't die from, and the hatred she now feels. She lets out a soul rending scream that instantly kills majority of the horde. She then goes through a process called monstrification and turns into a wraith that then proceeds to slaughter the dragon and everything still alive in the vicinity. Eventually a legend is created called Alice the Reaper, a wraith that seems to kill nearly indiscriminately, one knows she's around when they hear painfull wailing as if a woman is experiencing the worst pains imaginable.
