"Do you coach DPS?" - I teach everything. Tracer is the hardest hero in the game, yet I have managed to go from Unranked to GM1 without dropping a single match, all while explaining to you, the person that is going to be GM1 what fundamentals you need to practice.

  • my toxic trait is thinking i can do the exact same thing after watching these
  • @aidanisdone.
Support: out of position Awkward: you’re looking isolated and killable my guy
  • @Brian-Dean
Imagine proximity chat, every time you die you hear "...all you do is create an off-angle..." and "...why did I kill him? Because he was killable..."
  • @gamebuster800
Awkward can create an unranked to GM for 2 heroes per workday
  • 40:03 once you've outplayed everyone on the enemy team, the only one left to outplay is yourself
  • Tracer feels like there's either a monster on the keyboard dominating the game that you can't land a shot on and get one clipped by or she's doing absolutely nothing and you accidentally kill her when she blinks into one of your abilities lol, no in between
  • As Tracer, you should keep these in your mind: (The mindset of a tracer player) 1) Your main objective is to hard push isolated and/or killable targets in the enemy’s backline with your RECALL to escape "Jail free card" Note: YOU SHOULD TIME YOUR ATTACKS SO THAT RECALL CAN STILL GET YOU BACK TO AN OFF-ANGLE. This is what happens generally when you hard engage with no recall 39:30 2) If there’s no isolated and/or killable targets, pressure whomever is pressuring your team or trying to pressure you. 3) Never, NEVER stop shooting. You can and should always find something to do. (Either point 1 or 2) 4) Blinking predictability 22:58 - "think about your blink as the extension of walking and then it will be easier. if you walk predictably you blink predictably". 5) Blink management 27:23 *6) A lot of players push hard when they see 2 or more enemies in a Zarya ult 29:50, what they don't realize is that THE FIGHT IS OVER, IN OTHER WORDS HIS TEAM IS DEAD. You can still escape as tracer instead of suiciding. Also, he saved his blinks for escaping as opposed to using them recklessly. 7) Blinking around natural cover 44:40 8) Setting up pre-game thinking 46:52 (Watch until 48:15) 9) 51:57 - 52:43, Summarized advice from Awkward Games I recommend watching thoroughly: 1) 23:00 2) Excellent game (Listen thoroughly) 46:49 (Round two hits different) 3) High-level mechanics and good thinking and awareness from Awkward game 55:20 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Watch this JakeOW Coach video of Striker’s Tracer OWL gameplay. https://youtu.be/qzOqFvgH_Gs

This is BY FAR the best tracer BEGINNER guide on the internet, simply because it shows the fundementals of actually winning on tracer and applies them immediatly in game. Doesn't dive immediatly into details (Blink range, Combos, CD mangment, etc...), as important as they are, they dont win games without the fundementals. Thank you for this. It really helped much <3 .
  • @Awkward2 Hey ! I'm the Ana who slept the nanoblade there at 58:55. I had been watching your Ana Unranked to GM before that match and you helped me climb recently from gold to masters with a 60% winrate. Thanks for your educational content !
  • Imagine the enemy team hearing the comms. “The Moira is isolated, you know what that means!” Moira: 😳
  • For those of you actually looking to improve from watching this video. Take notes on the advice he gives, watch him do It a bit, then go in-game. Play until you feel as though you understand his advice on a deeper level and feel like you're doing it without as much mental effort. Finally come back to the video implement his next bit of advice. Remember you will not see the improvement you want without good enough sleep. To those who found this good luck climbing :3
  • @Tuwakan
"take off angle and be annoying" hits different. I played 10 matches as tracer today and only used that tactic. I hated tracer since day one but after today's matches I love her
  • @pakman9232
Awkward yet again blessing us with more helpful content. Not a game goes by where I don't learn something from the man
  • @Hackcam
My worst nightmare is just trying to go to sleep and then suddenly i hear someone calmly say "Isolated, very killable"
  • @Dankflamio
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE!! about to watch! So excited. Thank you for these guides, Awkward!
  • @jxalexan5641
The way in which this guy can simultaneously play this well and provide helpful insights and education into how to do it is extremely impressive, earned a sub my friend.
  • I was a hard-stuck diamond 4 last season. The system boosts me up to Diamon 3. Then I pick up tracer (used to main 76 and bastion), play off-angle, and pick up the single-out targets, I didn't have a perfect win streak but after like 20 wins and 6 losses, I'm now master 5. Thank you for the 76 and tracer edu videos you're freaking insane man.
  • @Mandus_The_Mad
I like how tracers personality matches her playstyle perfectly. She is loud and rambunctious because her role is as a distraction.
