Mommy Long Legs Final Boss Fight + Ending - Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2

The thing that really fucked me up about her death was the fact that she was obviously feeling the pain and knew she was probably going to die but she was MORE terrified of this new mysterious "He" and what "he" was going to do to her. That immediately gave this new character a horrifying reputation especially when he was basically right there to grab her once she was dead without wasting time which to me makes me think he had been watching this whole thing just WAITING for her to die. (Edit 2024: Just so people arent confused anymore, I AM up to date with these games and am well aware that the "He" is the prototype now, thanks lol)

the way she says “hide and seek” in a aggressive tone, then starts counting calmly gives me actual shivers, especially with that stare

Mommy Long Legs just staring you down as she begins counting down was honestly horrifying. The higher ups of this company may be assholes but damn do they know how to make a good horror game.

Little thing I noticed: At 0:18 her right hand looks normal at first, but when mommy starts getting more twisted her fingers extend. Nice detail.

Part of me thinks we’re going to die here no matter what. So we might as well stop whatever bad things are happening here as Poppy says. Whoever our character is, isn’t relevant it seems. I don’t think Poppy sees us as a tool or something like that, she just needs our help to fix everything (although she could tone down the creepiness a little-). Just like a death screen said: ”This isn’t about you.” ”Get up.”

0:25 I like as soon as she said “Ten”, he takes a step back like “Wait- what the fuck?”

Love how after she says seek her eyes and hair change, which is a good way of showing off an angry horror game antagonist (it also sounds like she is going insane)

4:05 A lot of people were scared that Mommy Long Legs was going to turn on the incinerator to burn us alive but she can't possibly do that because she doesn't have the green hand.

The thing that disturbed me the most about the death scene was the fact that when Mommy Long Legs' torso got caught in the crusher, blood came off of it. It makes me wonder if there was actually a bit of human in that plastic casing.

i think what disturbed me the most about her death was when she said “don’t make me part of him”, as mommy long legs could possibly be referring to the prototype, exp 1006, and don’t make me part of him is quite a vague description, part of him? what does he do with the remaining parts of a dead toy?! can’t wait for future chapters to find out more.

notice how she always refers to herself as "mommy" but in the boss fight she refers to herself as "I" which just shows she is actually mad

0:21 i love the way her eyes and ponytail changed immediately

I love how at 5:46 she turns her head to the grinder like "wait what the hell" and then she just gets her lower half decimated. Damn that honestly was one of the most gruesome deaths I've ever seen man I honestly felt bad for her having to die that way but she was insane as hell so I don't feel too much sympathy but I feel a little.

The voice acting and animation on this is admittedly very impressive. Puts a lot of other projects to shame.

One of the scariest things about this game is that every time you think you're about to get chased down, nothing happens. It's only until you let your guard down when they strike.

Mommy: “I ASKED YOU TO PLAY FAIR AND YOU CHEATED, I HATE CHEATERS!!!!!” Me: me too especially when they make the game unwinble

What's darkest to me is how she almost manages to escape by ripping her arm off but then gets her leg caught in the process. Imagine freeing yourself from death and then immediately becoming trapped again in panic.

i like how she still gave us a fair count down even after we pissed her off-

4:44 i hear her saying 'WOAAaaHHhH'

“I asked you to play fair and you cheated! I HATE cheaters! Now, we’re going to play one last game…it’s called Hide’n seek” Man this line really hits hard because the player technically did. They skipped level 5 for musical memory, and went out of bounds during statues. Mommy wasn’t wrong and all, but she really tried to get us killed by MAKING the mini-games almost impossible. The voice actor for Mommy deserves 10 raises by next week.
