大谷選手は、同じカリフォルニア州アナハイムのエンゼルスの時、投打での活躍でMVPとなった。日本政府からスポーツなどで秀でた活躍をした選手への内閣総理大臣賞の話がありましたが、その時は、成長の途中だったので、受賞を断りました。 今年は、リハビリ中で打席だけですが、多くの日本企業がスポンサーとなったり、観客動員数が増えたり、各地からのファンも増え経済効果をもたらした。また、様々な形で寄付金をだし、病気の子供たちや被災者に社会貢献をしている。 10年間の契約の中で、大谷選手の経済効果や社会的貢献、大リーグでの活躍を期待します。その時は、日米のスポーツを通しての友好や子供たちの将来への夢の懸け橋として、内閣総理大臣賞を受賞すべきと思います🎉🎉🎊🎊
