I’m at the point now where when I hear “Heated” that I get kinda teary when I hear her start saying “uncle.. uncle.. uncle.. uncle johnny made my dress” in the background of the 1st verse and the end.

He being her late gay uncle is being memorialized in such a beautiful way when being a queer black man in the time he lived in was so looked down upon.. She dedicated the whole album to him and his influence on her. And he had made many dresses for her in her life. So when she saying she is wearing the designers (Tiffany, Chanel) has got her heated… she is also saying nothing brought more heat than the dresses her uncle made… wow.
