So I finally decided to do a carburetor swap on this thing so that I could get it to run correctly. Way too many problems with the old fuel injection unit that was just going to be cost-prohibitive to fix because of parts availability. One of the things that tipped the scale for me was the fact that I located an ultra-rare Offenhauser dual port intake manifold for a 22R Toyota. I was very excited to get it and so I decided to move forward with the carb swap.

    Great job on the carburator! I've had a few 20-R and 22-R engines in the 80's. It's always nice to see a survivor being 'upgraded'.
