  • Michael Jordan fans are the worst sports fans. And I challenge any Michael Jordan fan to go on my podcast and show me their facts that Michael Jordan is the number 1 NBA player of all time. If you would like to go on send me an email then.
  • Dumars is a real gentleman, many kids these days really think Bird isnt top 10 ever, they have no idea how great he was smh

I always felt like Joe Dumars was one of the classiest guys to ever play for the pistons.

As a Celtics fan I always exempted Joe Dumars from my Piston hatred. Great player who doesn't get nearly enough respect and credit.
  • And Joe Dumars is modest but he was one of the best guards ever. Great ball handling, great shooting, great defense, great heart and a calm head. On top of it he was modest and humble. His handling was devoid of blings, simple/minimalist and complete control. Pleasure to watch.

Joe Dumars was, and is a real class act, and was an excellent player. There was a moment of a few years during the Bad Boys prime- IMO, he was one of the two best 2-guards in the league, at times better than Jordan, especially in the playoffs. He was voted Finals MVP in 1989. He was by far my favorite player on the Pistons; he didn't play dirty, and was one of the most skilled players in that squad. Jordan has stated on record that Dumars was his toughest defender.

Great player that went out there night after night and gave it his all. You can't not like Joe Dumars.
  • The end reminds me of why I always liked Joe Dumars. He was a class act. I "hated" the Pistons in the 80's because I was a Larry Bird fan (lived in Indiana for over 25 years), but I always liked and respected Joe Dumars.
  • RESPECT TO JOE DUMARS! FROM A BIG CELTICS FAN SINCE THE LATE 70s! BIRD IS THE WORD! FROM LOUDOUN COUNTY VIRGINIA! ☘️☘️☘️☘️☘️
  • @MikeDeeRo
Joe D is a class act to this day! I’m from Seattle so I loved that he mentioned Gus “The Wizard” Williams! Gus was an amazing point guard! Bring back our Sonics!
  • Heck of a player. As that Pistons team emerged and broke through I really felt like Dumars had the whole package and at least against the Celtics I felt he was more of a problem than Isiah. I mean his defense, his shooting, his finishing his drives, his selflessness. Just a player an excellent, excellent player. Probably the most likable guy on that team honestly (for a Celtics fan).
  • Joe Dumars does not get enough credit, 2 x Nba champ, Finals MVP. Jordan said he defended him the best. Joe was always a class act
  • Dumars was such a great player, superb defender, and seems to be a good person. My all time defensive 2 guard.
  • @nanook8721
I always admired Joe Dumars… He was a very solid player, very reliable, even tempered, smart and talented, of course! Nice to see you, Joe!

Larry Bird could be you mentally, his basketball IQ was incredible.

Joe Dumars, Joey Dee., is in the HOF because of his outstanding play on both sides of the ball. The NBA sportsmanship award is called the "Dumars" award because Joe Dumars is a find human being and a class act.
