Thumbnail is a mistake. I will fix it once I am home from the hospital tonight.

I am praying for you and your family Andrew!!! Love your channel and want nothing more for you and your family to get through this difficult time unscathed! Thank you so much for your hard work!

That Jeskai list is sweeet. Might inspire me to change my Aftermath Narset deck to focus more on cantrips and Mirrorwing effects
  • @lokumo13
Really impressive Jeskai deck, Andrew! The mirror type of effects really speak to me as an old Orvar player. I was currently lacking the inspiration to build a Jeskai deck, since I don't have one. Was thinking about Kykar or the new Narset but wasn't sure what direction to go with either since they are both storm-y and combo-y but the direction you've gone that's more Zada like might actually get me to take Kykar on the work bench!

The thing we learn here, is that you shouldn't destroy a small doctor with your flexible removal. You should destroy smothering tithe, like seriously, always destroy it!! Too busted ( + annoying). Other than that.. cool game and good coverage, like usual.
  • I love me some Solphim! Been running him for the past few weeks and have nothing but fun running him. Dealing 12 with a fiery confluence is amazing and my deck runs ton of copy effects so it make it so much better lol
  • @GermanGaryOak
I was slightly confused about the Mirko, obsessive Theorist commander under Iansname

Hey! Any chance we could get the link to the Elesh Norn deck? The description has the incorrect link for the Edgar Markov deck. Thanks! Really love all the content.
  • @joaomatos8211
I was gonna comment on Edgar not being in the game but on the thumbnail, and then it hit me. Well played sir, still not happy about it tho, i love Edgar :(

Andrew, in my point of view, I would kill the red player, because he can kill you faster than the white player. This is just my opinion, I love your content, keep up te good work.
  • @jsum33
    Excellent threat assessment lol
  • @Foetoid2k6
Patreon deck suggestions! Now i’m interested
  • @mattb683
Wait the mono red burn deck burned me? 😂
  • @resopuff9236
Idk if y’all use rule 0 commanders but I think Ink Treader Nephilim as a rule 0 commander instead of Ishai/Krark would be fun but it might be too overwhelming. As it is now though, that deck seems super fun.

7:06 No reason to cast Defiant Strike on Ian's end step if you have to spend a treasure anyway. Might as well untap first and see if you're better off just tapping your Plains for it. Hilarious deck, though.
  • @sergiofunes2919
As a Jeskai Ascendancy player, try to cast the last instant as you swing all creatures to untap.
  • TLDR, You should have only taken 12 at the end not 18. Not that it matters much, but the combination of Solphim and Torbran would make you believe that it’s 2, changed to 4 by solphim, and then adding two on top via torbrans replacement effect, BUT, replacement effects are tricky in that it’s the owner of the permanent/player being affected. In this case it’s you the player, so you can apply those replacement effects as you like. I.E. only taking 12 (2 each time plus 2 from torbran and dolphin seeing it as equal so nothing additional so a grand total of 12) Official Torbran Ruling: If another effect modifies how much damage your red source would deal, including preventing some of it, the player being dealt damage or the controller of the permanent being dealt damage chooses an order in which to apply those effects. If all of the damage is prevented, Torbran's effect no longer applies.
  • @cerebralisk
It didn't change the outcome at all but I think you were actually below 18 going into Ian's turn anyway from the unpaid Elesh Norn taxes on hitting Maximus.
