Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer here! You guys did such a good job explaining what’s going on. We see both of those things all the time and everything usually ends up being okay but will continue to pray for your little fam😊❤️

I had a battledore insertion placenta with my second baby. Which is basically what you described. His cord was attached off the side not in the middle… he was born at 10 pounds 3 ounces so that boy was getting all the nutrients and I give glory to God alone! Praying for you 3!💛

I really hope Taylor still goes to vet school. He does such an incredible job explaining everything. I know he’d be a great doctor. Definitely continuing to pray for you all and baby girl. My son was IGUR due to my placenta. He was born a little smaller than normal but he’s perfectly healthy

I had a marginal insertion and my son came out perfect! Very healthy and he got all the nutrients he needed. We had no idea it was like that until AFTER he was born! Praying for y’all 🫶🏻🥰

Thank you for bringing us along on your journey! I’m meeting with the MFM soon and have been anxious and excited for the anatomy scan. I’m saying prayers for your little girl, but it sounds like you guys are in good hands and all will go well!! ❤️ On the bright side, monthly and eventually weekly scans sound awesome!!
