Outrunning Blue Shells in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Switch, it is possible to outrun blue shells and red shells! This is most visible in the 200cc class, where the shells travel really slowly after they lock on to a player. Hopefully this will be patched in a later update.

It's been over 2 years, and no patch has been released. Looks like the blue shells will have to chase us to the grave.

Really love how the blue shell is just floating there. Not even moving, or doing any animations. Just floating there waiting to approach you. And despite how creepy it sounds, I find it very hilarious.
