Pausing in between frames and saying it's bad animation is like pausing a video of someone talking in a frame where he is in the middle of changing his face expression and saying he is physically deformed

When people say that pain vs Naruto “looks like loony tunes” they are complimenting the animation because loony tunes is animated better than 90% of today’s animated shows

You know why people unfairly criticize animation for being bad? It's because they're obsessed with finding anything that could be precieved as a flaw so they can be negative about it. And humans in general seem to find amusement in negativity.

I never understood the logic of posting a single frame as evidence of bad animation. Do these people not know what an animated gif is? Also, there's a huge difference between deforming a character, through the means of stretch/squash and not being able to stay on model.

"... a bizarre hatred that their cartoons dare to look like cartoons." INB4 someone whines, "AnImE iS nOt CaRtOoNs" Anime are cartoons, they're just not western cartoons. "Cartoons", in this context, refers to "animation". Hell, "anime" is even taking from the word "animation".
