I think both Gigi and Zendaya understood the assignment. They both looked soo beautiful and paid homage to the host country with what they were wearing - literally making headlines around the world and showing the rest of the world the beauty of the traditional and custom attire of India. There were other western celebs that night who chose to wear something else. Not to mention Zendaya also tried to follow some of the custom gestures of the host country. Proud they were great representatives.
