Before the GE90s were born, the CF6s were the biggest and baddest jet engines of their time. They powered numerous aircrafts including the A330, 767, MD11, and the iconic 747. And while I am not the biggest fan of the 80E1 variant that powers the A330, the 80C2 variant on the 747 is incredible sounding both inside and outside the cabin!
