All these years and the idea of making a legendary Anivia skin a fire phoenix hasn’t occurred to riot.
-
the only thing we hate more than this skin is the new fucking champ mastery
-
Damn that Ashe skin is really sad because they could have easily done something slightly more inspired like having an obsidian theme to work off of. You know, obsidian, the glass-like volcanic rock thats really sharp and was often used for arrowheads?
-
that's the 1:1 result of firing so many people in so many teams to have external contractors do the work the fired employee did.
-
The "Brand" skin line LMFAO
-
I understand why Skyen hates these skins so much, like occasionally there are good ones but as a whole, you can tell Riot actively avoids putting effort into them, which is a shame because the skinline could be so good with just the smallest effort
-
It's almost as if firing 500+ employees in one go affects the quality of the product. Edit: commented before the end of the video, nice to see Necrit also mention it.

Infernal skinline options: Using Blue flames for key abilities: no Using demonic themes like for infernal nasus: no Using ashes and smoke for some extra spice on spell effects: no Making the flames pop: no LITERALLY USING FIREBALLS ANYWHERE: no Using the worst possible Karma R-Q cracks for the floor: YES! Reusing assets for karma but in orange: YES! raaiooooot
-
They could have release INFERNAL URGOT LEGENDARY. He uses ult, he goes from RED FIRE TO BLUE FIRE AND WHITE COLORES ABILITIES, BECAUSE WHITE IS THE HOTTEST COLOR OF FIRES. HE IS SO BEAUTIFUL I LOVE YOU URGOT
-
All of their funding and effort went into the Empyrean skins
-
40 east asian skins, 3 project skins, gas station puddles and now infernal? Holy sh* this year is smth else
-
The typical fast food marketing: Looks nice on the picture, but the product itself looks like mush.
-
I want to point out for Necrit that Riot doesn't really make 975RP skins anymore, 1350 is the new baseline and it shouldn't be seen as premium. These skins are proof of that.

This is what happens when artists take a trip down memory lane and the middle manager sneaks up behind them. The mm literally went "Oh that looks good! Btw we just bought the orange colour wheel from Pantone, soo make it all orange!". To the artists: Oh, but, huh and eeeeh are not appropriate responses to shitty ideas delivered by people with megalonia

If I'm not mistaken, people voted for the Infernal Diana skin and the Shyvana rework during the same event. Yet here we are in 2024 with more additions to league's worst skin line and still no Shyvana rework. In fact, I think there were two separate occasions where players voted for a Shyvana rework.

Sawn Chaos Viego would be such an amazing skin, imagine one of his arms being sawn together with a female toy arm or something, like if Isolde was tied to him physically instead of spiritually.
-
Look's like, more Volcanic Skin than a "infernal"
-
It's hated because everything comes in a soulless industrial cash-grab packs just for the sake of a schedule. In the legacy days, skins were unique and tied to champions identity... Now they release it in generic packs (because of money), instead of taking a careful look at individual champions and releasing it dynamically. To paint a picture of the problem: For example, you know the skin Sultan Tryndamere? Imagine now 100+ champions having the same skin line/theme, regardless of champion identity, uniqueness or if it even looks good. The reason the skin Draven Draven is good, is not because of the quality but because it's unique and it fits perfectly, many such cases.
-
It's the way he talks about how Zyra and Diana had Infernal Skins in Season 2, when Zyra's wasn't called infernal, and Diana's released in S4
-
As bad as the skins are, the Ashe and Karma splash arts do go kinda hard and whoever was unfortunate enough to have to make them for these skins deserves a raise; they look so much better in splash.
