  • Comments criticizing the machines, and people who use them will be deleted. I'm not going to argue over whether or not these items are hand made or not. If you don't like the idea of a knitting machine, just close the window and move along to the next video.
  • Hey Jennifer!! Been watching for several months now. I am glad you got the Addi. I love mine. I am a school bus 🚌 driver. And I have about 60 elementary kids in my bus. So before Christmas break 2022 I made hats!!! I bought the $1.25 skeins from DT and I skein made a hat for each kid… they loved them and are still wearing them!! Good luck!!
  • @TwylaWorld
This machine is a game changer for people with fingers that aren't as flexible as they used to be! Hand knitting kills my hands these days and I can't do it for very long!
  • Hi. Thanks for the mention. I’m trying to get back into making videos. We got a 3D printer so we are upgrading the Addi adapter. A hat in 7 minutes!
  • Hi Jen, I bought my Addi during the pandemic and since then produced hundreds of hats for charity (homeless and children in Romania). I also crochet and hand knit baby blankets all year. Ignore the negative people, they suck and will criticize and bad breath anything and everybody. Thank you for all you do for the yarn community.
  • I love that you did the whole process in real time. Your ability to talk about pertinent things while showing a mundane process is why your channel just works. You make it seem easy 😘
  • @JaiBeesCrochet
I know this is an older video but, yes, I’m mesmerized by the clicking and turning. And it is making me anxious waiting for mine to ship and get here two days later which as I watch this I only have one more day but I want it now. Hahaha

My husband has a 3D printer and he printed a tensioner for both of my Addi knitting machines. Those tensioners make a huge difference which makes knitting on the machines even easier. He also bought me a small electric drill so that when my arms get tired I can use that but it doesn't go super fast so I don't have to worry about breaking the machine.

If there is no tutorial about hand decreasing stitching for a hat made on a knitting mill, you could have found a gem if you would make one, because that could be a video that goes through the roof for views!
  • @YarnWithHeart
Love your idea of combining Addi stitches together with some crochet/hand knitting stitches... For me, it would be useful for scarves & hats, and maybe I could sew rectangles together for blankets. Maybe Mr. W will get me one this Christmas time, so I can donate more items :)
  • I hand knit, and crochet, and have for many years. I am also the proud owner of the addis and the sentros, all sizes. If some think it's cheating, that is, of course, their prerogative. But it's like saying using a sewing machine to create garments is Cheating....should everything be hand-sewn then? Of course not!! Thanks Jenn.......
  • @MamaTata86
Absolutely loving the turban style headbands you've made! 😍 Thank you for sharing this video with us. I love how your opinion was similar to mine prior to you getting it, yet you've opened my eyes to how beneficial it could actually be to have one. 💖 I also love how Mr. Cinnamon, JuJu and Little man can even get in on the fun.. I appreciate you taking the time for this video for us! 💖
  • @kathir2264
This looks like so much fun, thanks for showing the process from start to finish, I can see how it would really tame the yarn stash down, and getting the kids involved is a win win for me 🥰
  • @maryfury3527
Jennifer, I love your new projects. Your table is perfect...Mr. Cinnamon did a great job. You did a wonderful job demonstrating on how to use Addi knitter...you are improving so fast. Your projects look so good. The closing looks great where you transferred to knitting needles to decrease 💜🙂
  • @bobbieistutu
I LOVE how you decreased! I’m not experienced knitter so to figure that I wouldn’t be able to do 🫤 it sure is lovely! Love your video!
  • Good morning Jen! When your face came on my TV, all I thought was please no mommy, dearest! I jumped a little bit, not gonna lie.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
  • Thanks for this, Jen. I def want one BUT, after watching this, I won't without a table like Mr. Cinnamon made you! What a sweetheart he is!
  • Hi Jen! I just got an addy king size too. Boy were my first projects a disaster. I’m getting a little better but it definitely takes practice!💜
