Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is an upcoming action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, it features a narrative inspired by the long-running comic book mythology while also deriving from various adaptations in other media. It is the third entry in the Marvel's Spider-Man series, acting as a sequel to Marvel's Spider-Man (2018) and a follow-up to Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales (2020), with Peter Parker and Miles Morales struggling to navigate the next steps in their personal lives while combatting an assortment of villains. Among them including a private militia led by mercenary Kraven the Hunter, the shapeshifting criminal Sandman, the monstrous Lizard, and the extraterrestrial Venom symbiote, which bonds itself to Parker and negatively influences him, threatening to destroy his personal relationships.

I thought I'd never see the day when Venom with wings was a thing outside of the comics. Venom was already my favorite comic book character. Now he's even better.

I do like that in this version of the venom story, he wants peter to join him instead of trying to ruin his life. It helps set this version apart from others.

31:14 My only complaint about the final boss is that we didn’t get a third phase to the Venom fight where Peter and Miles fight him two-on-one.

something about two best friends as men in modern media saying “i love you” to each other is so powerful and touching

Seeing MJ section of the game make me think that insomniac can make a new survival horror game.

I love how venom isn’t the normal hate filled murderous monster he normally is, he sounds hurt and betrayed and the seemless transition in the dialogue from Harry, the symbiote and venom himself is incredibly well done

The choice to have a former best friend merge with an equally close and betrayed symbiote was a brilliant choice on the part of the writers. I love this interpretation of Venom.

I like how during all of Venoms lines it sounds like Harry’s talking, but it also sounds like things Venom could be saying, like about the whole miles taking Peter away bit.

The way this game uses color is absolutely jawdropping in some instances. Miles’ suit arms contrast and passive blue pulsing is mesmerizing.
