Nas said working with the Beasties was one of the highlights of his career
  • @FlaatBeat
Beastie Boys, Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, Wu Tang Clan,.... New York hiphop is so dope
  • MCA: "I might still be MCing after you're gone... I never die." Me: chopping onions
  • @MattCassCook
There’s no point trying to explain how legendary these musicians are. If you know, you know. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is why Nas is truly one of the greats. Putting ego aside and showing love to those who pave the way before him. Nas ain't money and nonsense. Dude is a rap historian and always pays respect to those who came first. In a genre where most just care about the next best thing he shows genuine love for hip hop in a way few rappers do now a days. Shout out to the Beasties too. They showed the world hip hop wasn't the color of your skin, where you're from, or how hardcore you are. It's a way an expression of who you are.
  • Shows you how much respect NAS has for those who paved the streets before him RIP ADAM!!!!

Too many rappers and not enough MCs. Truer every year.
  • @jmi84
I don’t think people really understand and how iconic this collaboration is. And they made a video for the track? Amazing.

Wow! I didn't even know Nas and The Beastie Boys did a track together! Sick!
  • @goofyanimal
It's kinda crazy how this song came out in 2009 but is extremely relevant right now.
  • June 12th, 2009. This was the last show they would ever play, headlining Bonnaroo. They shot all of the footage with Nas before the show that day just driving around Tennessee. Directed by Roman Coppola.
  • Me and my daughter spin the Beastie boys vinyls every day during lunch. She loves it. That's our moment. We love you.
  • When he said, "Oh my god just look at me, grandpa been rappin since 83" Funny shit!
  • @JohntheRapper
I'm not sure how I'd react if I saw the Beastie Boys and Nas going ham in the produce department.
  • @ChimaChindaDev
Am I the only one who just got this in their recommendation. This is dope!
  • @MrWuWatt
Love how these guys and NAS can MC without talking about guns, drugs, crimes, etc. Respect!
  • @Taco187
MCA has a very dope rapper voice RIP LEGEND
  • @kamuelalee
RIP MCA, greatly missed...as well as the Beastie Boys!
  • @jimi0rig
Bonnaroo 2009, I was there for the final show. When they announced Nas was coming out with them my brain melted and this was truly a show for the ages. RIP MCA

This tune is mental. It has been around for years but still feels totally fresh. Better than anything knocking around today. Beastie Boys and Nas are legendary....
