A circuit of Te Kowhai Airfield (NZTE) runway 05 in the unique Avian Adventurer ZK-CKE.
5 August 2012. This aircraft has a geared Subaru EJ20 driving a variable pitch prop, and pilots used to Lycomings and Continentals will notice a few differences in the checks and the way the engine is handled. Filmed using a GoPro Hero on a suction mount attached to the cabin roof. Scaled for uploading due to slow internet speeds!

    Its a homebuilt aircraft I designed and built myself, so is absolutely one of a kind. Its called an Avian Adventurer and is a 2 seat "Classic" looking tailwheel -type aircraft.
