I loved this area wished they used goop tendrils in later areas

A side is the normal story mode. B sides (and even C sides) are shorter version of each chapter with no story, but harder and only meant to be a challenge for advanced player. So you can try them one by one or just ignore them until the very end and do it when you have a lot of time
