Survivor Players Jeff Probst Hated

Jeff has hated FairPlay from the moment they met. FairPlay told a story that when he went to meet Probst & Burnett at casting finals he put some lotion in his hand before going to shake Jeff’s. He was so disgusted that he vowed to never have FairPlay on the show, but Burnett overruled Jeff because “if he did that to you, just imagine what he’ll do to them!”

I was expecting to hear: "At number one we have the entire cast of Survivor Gabon"

Something I didn't know I never needed to see was a picture of Jeff Probst French kissing his girlfriend.

The fact thay Chris D is still friends with Julie tells you a lot about the relationship they made on the show.

I would argue that FairPlay isn’t as hated by Jeff as most people think. FairPlay, along with others claim they got a call for season 40 before it was changed to WaW. And FairPlay only “quit” because he broke his jaw and needed pain medication that production wouldn’t give. So maybe there’s a chance FairPlay will appear in the legends season, who knows. But Colton is def. hated more based on how Jeff treated him.

A few years ago, I was at my local Sam's Club and noticed a guy who looked familiar. So I asked him if he use to work where I use to work and he said, sorry no. I said, no, I'm sorry, you just looked familiar. He said, you probably recognize me from Survivor, I was on the first season. And it hit me, yes, I knew him from tv. It was Gervais!! I asked to get a pic of him because my niece is a huge survivor fan. He said, sure, but get in the pic with me. He then took my phone and took a pic of us. Very nice guy! My niece screamed when I sent her the pic! She was beside herself, she couldn't believe it!!

Shoutout to Aras from 12. Jeff thought he was so boring and undeserving compared to Terry, the format changed from final two to final three.

Honestly, having seen how Probst can get sometimes towards contestants over the last 45 seasons, I'm shocked you were able to get this down to 5.

I’d think a good honorable mention is Osten in Pearl Islands as the shows first official quit. They made a big deal about it when it happened and they even included a shot of Osten’s torch in the final 3 journey

I feel like there could be a companion piece of players that hate Jeff. There’s got to be enough for a video

Now if Brian was a good trashy used car salesman, he would’ve used his survivor fame to star in the American Psycho porno spoof, then he wouldn’t need the appearance fee, then he would’ve been on All Stars and become a two time winner because his charisma would be so good, no one would target him as a winner

I love how everyone ignores the fact that Julie was the one who back stabbed Chris after he kept her safe on the swapped tribe. She was the real villain of the story. Chris just avenged his friends.

i'm surprised you didn't even mention fairplay's dead grandma lie. that's probably what fairplay is most remembered and most hated for. and i'm sure that's one of the contributing factors of jeff's hatred for him, if there wasn't already 1000 other reasons

I notice you omitted the fact that Julie betrayed Chris (and the other men) earlier in the Vanuatu season. He simply gave her what she deserved.

A player that is kind of irrelevant but I think Probst hates the most is Stacey from season 1. After she was voted out she attempted to sue survivor production for rigging the votes against her. Her lawsuit made national news and made many people still question how real survivor is

The only redeeming thing about Colton was that he brought Caleb into the Survivor universe. May he R.I.P.

Chris is the one the most underrated winners of all time, before idols and advantages , he won by basically just being a professional BS Artist
