Anyway, I got a momentary spark of motivation thinking about how much of an awful person I am, and I watched too much Nanatsu no Taizai last weekend, so here come my sins! And I've had the Princess and the Frog soundtrack on loop the past week so, haha. I thought it fits. (Also shoutout to Jaiden Animations and TheOdd1sOut I LOVE YOU GUYS)
As you can see, I didn't use Animate CC to make this animatic this time. I dunno, I felt like I was limiting myself to Animate, and don't get me wrong, the results of using it is AMAZING because of all the tweening and nesting animation and stuff, but I found it to be a huge chore to do EVERYTHING in there, so I went back to my roots of drawing each frame in a drawing program and putting them together in Sony Vegas. I spent like an entire day rewatching old animatics to try and figure out what made them work and HOW I was churning them out so fast. Like, what was their charm?? HOW did I do that?
So I'm a little rusty with it, but I had fun with this. Like, SO much fun. Of course it took me more than 2 days to make this but the end result made it all worth it. I have a lot of OCs that don't get drawn much so... This is self indulgence. Self care. Hush now.

Princess and the Frog is SUCH an underrated disney movie, I love this song especially Edit: okay so I was wondering why Modeus is represented as a goat, and I sorta brushed it off until one of my friends mentioned celebrating Aphrodisia, a festival in ancient Greece that was dedicated to the goddess Aphrodite. Aphrodite being the goddess of love. You know what they often sacrificed to Aphrodite? Male white goats. Kudos to Mushie R. for doing their research

I like how their animals appeared. Envy is an endless cycle of being unsatisfied so the snake did a loop. Lust is fleeting and quick and never reliable or constant so the goat sped by. Pride is large, unmoving and forever constant so the lion just stood there and looked at us.
