“I think the yellow card is fair, because I was rude, but I was rude..to an idiot” LMAO GOTTA LOVE THIS GUY 😂

"Sir Alex is the only European Champion in this country, nobody else. So I have to prove what?" Vintage Jose man🥶
  • @TheBrass18
Young Jose was the Best Jose. The young, arrogant & charismatic Jose was the spark that the PL needed to go global.

The handshake to his assistants after winning the title 😄

The day Jose takes retirement will truly be a dark day in football.. He's a gift that just keeps on giving 😂

"Sir Alex is the only one European champion nobody else. So I have to prove what ." My best line

"3-0", "I think I'm the special one" and "I prefer not to speak" will always be legendary moments in football! I'll always love Jose man, what a guy💙
  • @s.o2864
The "I'm still alive" and "3-0" interviews will go down in history as some of the best football related moments ever.. People are gonna remember it for years and years

He made ‘I prefer not to speak’ and ‘If I speak I am in trouble’ a part of social media pop culture. Hate him or love him this man is a legend for so many reasons!

Original Jose was so incredible. Such a shame what they did to him at United. They killed his spirit

Fergie, Wenger and Mourinho. The 3 men who made the Premier League what it is today.

As a Liverpool fan I have a hatred of him on a sporting level, but he’s absolutely box office and a superb manager. Biggest mistake Man U made was sacking him instead of ousting the blighted deadwood in the dressing room. If they’d listened to him when he was criticising and falling out with certain players, Utd would be 5 years ahead of the rebuilding they currently need. Top manager.

Playing for this manager would be more than a dream. I have no idea why players can’t buy into his mentality. He’s got class/aggression and it works.

To me, peak Jose was walking round the pitch with one finger in the air after the 1-0 loss but aggregate win against Barcelona with inter Milan. Everything I love about him (and everything you may well hate) is exemplified and concentrated in that moment. Peak, vintage Jose at probably the height of his powers. Football heritage
  • @mattceccotti
As an interista, I'll always be a fan of this man, no matter what.
  • He just took Roma to their first European final since 1984!! The man does his job wherever he goes. Edit: since 1991 my bad. Still impressive!
