Ever wish you could create your own customized hair treatment mask? The Luxe Hair Mask Base makes creating your own hair mask easy! It can be customized with fragrance and additives depending on your hair type. The base is made of a blend of moisturizing and hair-loving ingredients like jojoba oil and DL-panthenol.

It was formulated by Marie of @HumblebeeAndMe! In this video, Marie shows you how to customize the base depending on your hair type. For dry hair, we recommend adding an oil-based extract, while fine/oily hair may prefer a water-based extract. For curly hair, we added the Curl Enhance Water Soluble Extract to give curls strength. All three recipes produce a batch of 100 grams, which is the perfect amount to test.

I figured this was coming soon. A few months back, Anne-Marie made the Sweetheart Shampoo bars, that she said Brambleberry released because of the popularity of the Aloe Shampoo bar video from even further back. She name-dropped both Marie's and Susan Barkley-Nichols (Swiftycraftymonkey) blogs as sources for the recipe in the Aloe Shampoo bar video, so the fact that BB struck up a relationship with one of them is not surprising. It strikes me funny that neither videos are even close to their most watched, so maybe the videos just raised demand for more haircare ingredients (?). I like the fact that BB is offering cetyl alcohol now. 😊
