This is the type of videos that I enjoy seeing. Not so much the roller coasters but the thrill rides. They seem to do more innovation with the transportation than the coasters do. Great vid! Keep it up.
  • It's insane to thing how did they came up with this ride system. Like, in a way, it doesn't feel absurd to think they had this idea, but at the same time I'm like "how did they thought on that?". Great video as always :)
  • @nathie
This is one of the most insane rides you can experience today. Everything about it feels so uncanny!

If Walt and Roy could have saw this ride , Imagine that. They would be blown away how far Disney has come . To me I'm so jealous Shanghai gets this phenomenal ride. Maybe sometime Disneyland or World might get one as well.
  • It still blows my mind that some of the Caribbean rides don't have drops. I mean they aren't crazy log fume drops, but I always loved them and they did great to change the different scenarios you go into. I like the idea of a backwards one sending you into the depths of the sea.

Thank you for all the effort you put into making these videos, it’s really easy to understand after seeing the printed models 😅
  • I can't imagine how much maintenance those underwater mechanical systems need!! Great video and explanation, thanks!!
  • Great video thank you. We lived in China from 2016 - 2020. It was great to experience the opening of a Disney park. The Pirates ride and Tron are the best Disney rides ever. The homage just after the drop into the water, the skeletal dogs and pirates jail scene, gives riders notice that the "old way" is dead as they are about to experience the future in a total immersion dark ride.

Love your content, its always my go to after a day of work!

I was lucky enough to ride this in 2019. It was stunning on the first go, and my 2nd ride was even more impressive as I was trying to figure out all that you presented. (which I definitely failed) Great job on the video!

This is your best production yet and a great use of your new resin printer.
  • @angiecrocitto
I love your models! So much respect, I know those take hours to make

Thank you for this explanation of how it works. Super interesting!! Despite watching multiple videos of this ride over the years, I still learned a lot!
  • Wow. Outstanding video and model. And it's nice to see that Imagineering is as innovative as ever. Have you thought about trying stop-motion animation when showing the movement of your scale models? It would admittedly be a lot of extra work for you, but it would eliminate having your hand in the picture and it would level up the polish of your videos even more. Just a thought.

This ride is the Multi-Track Drifting meme made real.
  • This ride system would be a perfect fit for an Indiana Jones attraction (I’m looking at you DHS) and it’s a shame Disney hasn’t done it
  • I see you uploaded this fine video on the 55th anniversary of the ONE that started it ALL. Disneyland's Pirates of the Caribbean. Truly a 'bucket list" destination for me.
