I wanted to properly explain what is happening right now.

Other announcements:
To those who don't know, Madelines original VA: Maru, has left the team due to feeling underappreciated, unaccredited and due to the poor management of the D.O.A.H team. I am only one man handling the team and I am not a born leader, which is why I completely understand Maru's decision and wholeheartedly respect it. With every passing day, I grow and learn something new. Know that I since credited Maru as best as I could for their characters at the end of the episodes they are included in, but I realize that was not enough.

If any other team members feel underappreciated, underpaid or under-credited, please let me know.

Maru. If you're reading this, know that from the bottom of my heart, i'm sorry for what I've done. I never meant to "steal" or profit from any of your characters and I will do whatever I can to prove this.

Thank you all for the incredibly kind and calming words you've given me. Because of you, I'm soon going to be able to recover fully once again. I noticed that many of you have experienced a situation like this before and this is strangely comforting knowing that i'm not alone. To those who also lost an important someone in their life; my dearest sympathy and condolences go out to you. May our friends rest and watch over us in ever loving peace. Stay strong everyone ♡

Awww no. I lost my dog too and he was getting worse and worse everyday like that in the same way. It especially hurt when you said you've had her since 7 years, which is a very long time. Im sorry man, I hope you're okay..

I’m really sorry for you. This day has been crap for everyone. As someone who lost 3 family members during this time, I fully understand. I just found your channel today with D.O.A.H. Some of the best animation and storytelling I’ve ever seen. Hope you get better along with everyone else.

As a dog owner myself I understand how hard that can be and to also lose someone that was so close to you for your whole life, Take all the time you need, Rest In Peace Jessie❤️😔
  • The loss of those we cherish close to our hearts will leave a scar of sadness, they stay with us as a reminder as of what happened. But we shouldn’t focus on the sadness that it emanates, we must move on. Berry, take the time that you need, we have your back
  • I know how it feels to lose an important part of your life... I've been there with my dog we had back in 2015, and of course, he passed due to feeling extremely sick. I'm really sorry to hear for your loss, Berry, and no need to feel apologetic for the many delays.. It will not alter the fact that we're still by your side. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

As a dog owner myself, I know how that feels to have a pet that sleeps all day and won't eat anything... My dog (Who I'm not name out for personal reasons) would sleep all day because he was missing one of my parents, He wouldn't eat anything on his plate just sleep under my bed. (That, He was also getting Fleas on his body) When we moved out of my grandpa's house last year in Jan 11th, He got worse... He would pee everywhere inside my room, He would vomit if he DID eat, One time last year he pooped out bloody stool because of a bad diet. We gave him all different treatments to help him go through that pain suffering he went with. Good News is, He's doing much better controlling his fleas and Ear mites. But, He sometimes licks his leg a lot. Months ago, I put his puppy collar on my bedroom wall to honor the stages of he had to go through in his doggy life. A way to as thank you and to keep strong in life.

I apologize for not getting around to this sooner, but the circumstances for the delay were never clear until I had watched this. It's never easy to let go of someone you've cherished and loved their whole life. It hurts like nothing else, and I've had to experience it a lot with my fluffy companions. But I know in the deepest depths of my heart that even in their last days, amidst all the pain, they were happy whenever they had us by their sides. And I'm sure Jessie was feeling the same way. Even if she could only run through the fields in her dreams, I believe she always pictured you running with her. She never forgot the great memories she had with you, so don't you forget them either. The saying goes - Don't be sad that it's over, be happy that it all happened. Much love mate. 💙

I know how it feels to lose a dog like that. My parent’s dog passed away when I was a kid, so I can tell that this must hurt a lot. I’m so sorry you have to go through this now. Thank you for the encouraging words at the end. Edit: I just read the description. Don’t blame yourself for what happened. I don’t know the process for getting voice actors, but as long as you’re doing your best, that’s all anyone can ask of you.
