Just love how you included Addison with all of the choices. You could give the "extras" to the place that helps Foster Care Placement Children. They are always looking for backpacks.

Loved this video. Seeing what backpacks the kids picked and both the parents reactions was priceless..... I think I can tell why Shelly has trouble throwing.... Her demonstration of throwing was a dead give away. She was talking about throwing and she moved her "hand only" forward as she said she couldn't throw through the doorway. When throwing you have to move your whole arm as well as your hand towards the target....Practice makes perfect ...You can do it!

Just an idea: you could make some permanent 'names in a hat' system, such as a cup full of Popsicle sticks with the names in permanent marker. We've used that in our classroom for years and it makes it easy to choose a random child without any prep-work.

Just love how helpful and kind and sweet Jacob is. He helped with setting up and cleaning up and he helped with Addison on the phone.

All the kids are so sweet and supportive of each other. None act entitled or insist upon super duper expensive. You have raised them to be normal kids!!!! Plus you teach them all skills as the come along. Look how Trey went the other day and got the air blower to clean trampoline! Love!!! You guys💕🦋

So many good choices!! I think my favorites are the striped one that Addison got, Brinleys pink one, and Kasons space one. I'd use any of them! Also the multi colored Adidas and the one with stars all over it were really cute. And the red one with hearts all over! And the very cutesy one with the rainbow and everything. Guess it's a good think I'm not having to pick a backpack, since I would not be able to make a decision! What did surprise me a little though was that none of the kids seemed to look at the layout of the backpack. When I got school backpacks I usually wanted as many different pockets as possible, and I knew what kind of pockets I needed.

You are the best family. These parents always make sure all of the kids are treated fairly and have so much fun with everything they do! Love all of you!

And also thank you for being so honest about quarantine and how she’ll be allowed out tomorrow Etc you didn’t have to tell us that you could’ve said that she was clear and she’s finished quarantine so I hope you don’t get any backlash of any kind for it , you did what we would have done under such Circumstances and the child’s age!

This back to school video is by far my favorite one I’ve seen this year ! What an amazing idea to let the kids shop for their backpacks. They are so grateful for the bags, and not wanting that pricy on brand bag. Like nobody chose the Jordan one, until the last one. Lucky Jacob. It must be very stressful seeing the bag he wanted, and had to wait till last.
