Miles (Martin Lawrence from National Security and Bad Boys) is roughly interrogating Tulley (Dave Chappelle from The Nutty Professor) and orders him to shut up about his identity. Tulley demands $50,000 to keep quiet about who Miles really is. Miles refuses and Tulley starts to give information about Miles to make him accept the deal, but Miles is ready to assault him when Tulley's lawyer takes him out. Later, Miles is looking for his diamond inside the office's roof when Carlson (Luke Wilson from The Royal Tenenbaums) enters and surprises him.

What’s the movie Blue Streak about?
When master thief Miles Logan (Martin Lawrence from National Security and Bad Boys) gets caught during a jewel heist, he hides his loot in the ventilation ducts of a half-finished office building at a nearby construction site moments before being arrested. After he does time he heads back to claim his stashed score only to find that the construction site has become the HQ of the LAPD's 37th Precinct. In order to get his loot back, he infiltrates the police force by posing as a detective. Not only do the cops think he's a real detective, he's soon placed in command of the entire burglary unit and is teamed up with newly-appointed Detective Carlson (Luke Wilson from The Royal Tenenbaums) to take under his wing. All he wants to do is look for his hidden booty but, wouldn't you know it, he keeps having to take on actual police assignments. But things will get more complicated when Mile’s old accomplice Deacon (Peter Greene) will try to steal the diamond.
