This was so well written...I loved this episode at age 11...and I still love it at age 52...🚀

I remember watching this as a kid and how old everyone looked. Now I’m watching this at age 59 and notice how young everyone looks. So weird.

Star Trek the original series FOR EVER!!!!

One of my child hood favorites ❤ I really enjoy William Shatner’s acting 👍

A very Happy 90th Birthday William Shatner. Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montreal, Quebec. March 22, 1931 Born in Canada, But a U.S. treasure. Your legacy is worldwide. Thanks Tiberius..

If i start to lose my memory when im a senior, i will be watching star trek the original series all the time, like every episode will be new :)

The effects may be dated, but the storytelling and characters are still timeless.
-
Best and most restrained performance by Shatner. One of the best episodes of TOS
-
God, Uhura's legs! this is one of my favorite episodes for many more reasons with far deeper meaning. However, I do notice those legs and it just adds icing to the cake...

It was so AMAZING to have this brilliant TV show to grow up on in the late 1960s and during reruns in the 1970s. THANK YOU Lucille Ball for approving this intelligent show at Desilu Studios. You were a truly smart visionary. Lucy will certainly have a crown and a throne in Heaven.

My Pop was a career naval officer. He was retired when TOS came out. I was just a toddler. But I remember this episode as the first I ever watched with him. It was by then in syndication and on well past my bedtime. He loved the show. Especially Mr. Spock. He'd sit me on his lap and say "Now this is how a sailor is.". I ended up in the Army as an officer, and whenever I was confronted with a difficult choice I'd imagine what Pop would do, but I'd ask what Spock would do.

I like how bones McCoy always looks like he needs a drink or he's had too many drinks the original series was the best
-
Most thrilling star trek series ever, still cant substitute for any other ❤
-
One of my favorite episodes. The older I get the more I appreciate these episodes.
-
One of my top 3 fave episodes of the series. Excellent story. Superb dialogue. And Mark Lenard delivers phenomenal acting every time.
-
This is the best episode of the series.

One of the best episodes ever. Hands down
-
I don’t care what anyone else says about Shatners acting. He is supurb
-
NOW that was real science fiction! Loved that show in my teens, still love it and I'm a 70 yr old. This show was a submarine story set in space. It was brilliant for its time. Its themes about the horror of war.
