At that moment in US history we were going through one of the worst economic crashes aside from the 1929 Great Depression. This was under Ronald Reagan. He gutted the regulations that prevented banks and Wall Street from recklessly using public money without personal backing, and federally backed funds. It has led to every single crash since. He read a report earlier on the affect of how we were globalizing and the affect it would have on those countries as well their view of us. We are for sure living through that massive mistake, Jimi Carter tried to prevent it, but the powers that be made a point to push him out because they wanted to exploit more developing nations. He’s just explaining that it is happening, why it’s happening, and side effects. He’s correct. It’s exactly how it happens. Lower banks being reckless, not have individual backing, and needing the help of federal backing in order not to destroy our economy all while hurting the countries that fell into crooked debt. The guy is right on in hindsight. Nice to see her father is such a rational, and compassionate human. While also understanding economics so well. I’m sure that will impact her views as well, and he’s totally right. We have the data. Good to know.

I’m Jamaican. Blackman with Indian in my family. It’s called (Coolie, or “Royal”) it’s no issue among Jamaicans. It’s only an issue among offshore racists. We’re black & Indian , but we identify with our African heritage. No big deal!

All over the Caribbean there are people who are a mixture of Indian and black African. There is not anything strange about this. They are called dougla. Kamala's heritage is even more complicated, since her father is a mixture of black and white. America is called a melting pot of peoples and culture. She is a product of the melting pot. She is very American.

I do find it interesting that so many are soooo concerned about her race but don’t want to be called racist
  • @usethetools
WHO CARES IF SOMEONE IS BLACK, LIGHT BLACK, CREAM COLORED (WHITE), RED, YELLOW OR MIXED... THAT SHOULD NEVER BE AN ISSUE.
  • @YoungSymisCool
I know a beautiful nappy afro when i see one! He just has a noticeable accent, people lol. Are you guys blind??
  • Looks like a brother to me... she got my vote! 🗳️ All these Republicans questioning her blackness, then turn around and call everyone else a race baiter is sickening . Project 2025 and the revenge is right around the corner!!!
  • So someone that looks 100% chinese that was born and raised in Guatemala is "Guatemalan"? LOL ok

What does he say he is? Has there been documented evidence that he’s not of African descent? I grew up in a Jamaican culture. I was adopted. I learned that in Jamaica there is a huge Indian population of Jamaicans. Honestly Kamala Harris claiming to be black isn’t the issue. The issue is that she consistently claims blackness only to push identity politics, but beyond that doesn’t promote any policies designed to help the very demographic she claims to belong to. If she had a positive record of helping the black community, no one would care to speculate what race she belongs to.

Jamaicans are of African descent, just like African Americans.

Many Jamaicans (like her dad) were insulted by her weed remarks..yes, stereotypes might be true, but many refuse the categorization, especially when you know first hand how this beloved weed has damaged the lives of many young men and women in Jamaica. Further more, she's beyond pathetic as a liar, which all politicians are guilty of. Will do more research on her dad now as i used to live n work near his home town
