He says “Rotary” one time in this whole video... In an RX-7 video

Mazda: Makes their logo spell M so it stays in people's heads. Doug: The Vee-thing.
  • I love that the RX-7 and the Supra both have cockpit-like driver seats.

The exhaust overheat warning is because the cat. caused some fires when the car was parked in dry brush. What you do if it comes on is ensure you're not parked over any flammable materials such as dry leaves. The headlight pop-up button is so you can clean the headlights, or if the motor breaks you can put them up manually and flip the button so they don't retract until you get the problem fixed. I had a '95 and ripped out the crummy Bose sound system. The supposed subwoofer was horrible & took up about 1/3 of the trunk. I notice your test car didn't have one, either. The car was fast and handled and stopped wonderfully on Texas ranch roads. I had the car up to 150 mph on Interstate 35. I ran out of guts before it did, though I felt stable and safe at that speed. It was definitely a date-melter!

4:53 "the whole cutout can be removed when you want to dump your ashes" isn't your grieving family supposed to do that for you?
  • "Then only disappointment I have driving this car is I can't look at it" lol I agree

The overheat exhaust system was really to let you know not to park over dry, grassy areas...as those areas could (and did) catch on fire if you idled your RX-7 over them.

V winged thing? I think it might be an “M”. 😂😂

The pop up light feature was for snow conditions...your lights didn't get stuck down under snow/ice.

Definitely one of the most beautiful cars of all time. 255hp is a great number, even for today's standards. 200hp would've been adequate for this car.

thats is a gorgeous looking car.. so clean in its styling, no fake vents or weird sculptured lines, just pure function..definitely a classic example of a true vintage sports car

I think having the storage compartments is more practical than having useless tiny back seats.

I'm not so into Japanese cars, more interested in German offerings, but I've never been able to deny that the RX-7 is a special car, and props to Mazda for making it.
