Gohan is a conflicted character. Doing the right thing means he has to break his own rules. He hates killing but is willing to do it if it helps get rid of those who like to see life burn.

He may never have been a warrior. But he always answered the call to war.

Hits different with Gohans new transformation. Writers never did him justice but we’ve seen now he has that potential to be the strongest Saiyan.

Vegeta has always had great expectations of Gohan, and for him seeing Gohan waste away is insulting. I think if Vegeta trained Gohan it would make him a less conflicted character. I hope DBS has an arc of these two training. I would love to see the result. Both characters would drastically change if they interacted more.

these always get me so emotional i watch one DBZ video and I cant stop feeling the hope and passion the characters embody. The force of their willpower is unmatched to be able to look death in the face and keep pushing, they are heroes(': NEVER GIVE UP

I love how Vegeta righteously nullified Gohan's progress with wisdom at the end of this. I seriously feel like in that moment, there was so much undertoned but fully understood meaning. I feel like vegeta was probably thinking, ((Your father and I had such high hopes for you to be a better Saiyan than either of us, but even though I am now the king of all Saiyan's I am compelled to acknowledge that you have the gift of our forefathers that grants time scale legendary power, yet you've stood idle playing as a college boy with no training. If you love your family, you must always be ready to defend them with the entirety of your very being. You are not ready. Get your ass back in to shape.😔💔))

the only thing that holds back Gohan is lack of confidence and self acknowledgement, also he don't have any desire to fight and just live life peacefully.
