In this tutorial, Boris takes a closer look at the Live 12 Piano Roll and explains all the most important updates. We start off with quantization, which is now much more flexible. Then we take a look at arpeggiation, which is now built into the piano roll. We continue with chopping shortcuts, which enable faster than ever MIDI editing. Finally, we discuss two generative tools: Rhythm and Seed. These tools are incredible additions and allow you to create rhythms and melodies you wouldn't have otherwise come up with.
