She walks into a police station trying to be TAKEN OFF the missing persons list, While still being Missing & far far away from home?? for “important documents”?? It seems to me she wanted to get a Passport / ID in order to keep traveling with her abductors?? I know she’s autistic but she seems under the influence too. I hope she’s okay. She looks like shes been getting fed, But also abused… She looks depressed.

It seems like something was going on somewhere, either she may not have been happy at home to have taken off like that or she was lured away, either way though it's so good to hear that she's alive and ok after assuming the worst could have happened to her in these years she's been away. I hope if anything happened to her that justice is served and that she can recover and move on.

Maybe she just thinks nobody hurt her, yet unaware of how some things could have been quite damaging. She is not seeing the world with adult eyes. Also; whoever harbored this child is at least guilty of neglect for not seeking authorities on her behalf.

An update on the braces. A neighbour who saw her the day before she turned herself into the police, claimed that she still had her braces on, but they were in very bad shape. So it seems like they were removed after she turned herself into police as part of a health wellness check. As reported by the NY Post.

She must have met someone on the internet. How else could she get so far from home? Now that she's 18, she must be asking to be removed from the Missing List in order to get married.

If she left a note saying she was running away that means she ran away with someone especially if she has autism...and I hope they find out who that person(s) is. I can pretty much guarantee it's gonna be an adult. The Police will find out eventually, they never stop investigating even if it takes months or years. I really hope she misses and genuinely wants to be reunited with her mother and family.

She ran off with a man. They planned for her to return at 18 because then her mother doens't have permission to deep dive in to the issue since she is technically an adult.

my father was abusive to me and if i have the chance and knowledge I run away when i was 7 years old too. I wasnt brave like her so i just tell the teacher what happen and she sent CPS to talk to my father only.
