In this episode, I deal with an aggressive dog, Duk Duk, that has bitten several people. Our relationships with are dogs are built on trust, respect, and love. I will try to gain Duk Duk's respect one step at a time.

Romania also has lots of terrified, very dangerous dogs Iโ€™d be terrified to adopt, not knowing if Iโ€™d be able to tame the dog before having my face ripped off. How to handle such cases? Would love to see the rest of this, though thereโ€™s no way Iโ€™d adopt a dog like this, Iโ€™d be too scared. So, so sad that humans create such misery in animals.

I need to train my extremely fearful, reactive, and dog aggressive, 5 year old female GSD that I adopted 7 months ago, to a muzzle. I first started in the house, using the same type of muzzle. She will let me do anything to her, so putting it on was not a huge issue. Spent some time in the house with it on, and giving her treats. Once I took her outside she completely shut down. She plastered herself to the side of the house, laid down and looked at me with absolute terror in her eyes. I am assuming that she knows that as long as she has the muzzle on, outside where she's more vulnerable, that she knows that she can't defend herself. I would love your thoughts on this. Clearly, she still doesn't feel confident that I can protect her/us.
