They do mellow out a bit, but you are correct Latakia seems to keep its composure well.

Funny, my wife got me 3 dozen jars last week. I have the same funnel. I should have been doing this from the git go. I need to grab a dozen 4 ouncers for samples. Most of my samples have dried out. Damn shame. Live and learn. I got my jars now! Good vid, bro.

Thank you. I try to share what I have learned over the years, hopefully it can help some new to the pipe smoking hobby. : )

Those jars work great. I too lost a bunch of samples in the early years, just left them in the ziplock bags. I guess we live and (don't) learn. He he he. ; )

No, because that will dry out the tobacco. You need some moisture for long storage time.

I stored mine in a plastik sealing bag, but the moisture of the tobacco seemed to mold the tobacco or something, im not sure after a month or two.months or so... Any idea why that happened? It's gone bad, it had a yucky smell and I think some of the tobacco turned from yellow to Green

are these wide mouthed jars or just regular?
  • @FatBastardPipes
Specially with prices going up, and the inevitable internet tobacco sale ban, you would not want to waste any. ; )
  • @Tess1984
Can you do this with pipe tobacco?
  • @GAbriarman
