It’s not what songs did he play on it’s more like what songs did he not play on. WOW!
  • @ERAPOSORESERVA
It’s so interesting how all these top session players seem to be very nice and extremely objective
  • your move to nashville is definitely one of the best things for this channel Robert! We get to See the Best of the Best!

Brent has recorded for me…worth every penny! Great talent and guy
  • This series is amazing Robert. I feel like I’ve waited 25 years for these videos you’re doing now. Thank you for all your great work. Brent is the king.

Makes me proud to be the owner of a 1967 Telecaster. I really love my brand new mercury Telecaster Deluxe, but there is something special, something extra that can’t be put into words, about that ‘67 Tele.
  • I have watched your channel over the years and it's great to see the Nashville guys . I follow most of them and seen a few guys live in town. Thanks for the work you put into these posts. I also subscribed to your channel.

Great interview! Brent is such an incredible guitarist and that Tele is a classic. Almost reminds me of Joe Strummer’s class Tele, but with less wear and tear. I’ve watched tons of interviews with Brent and he’s such an easy going guy. It’s interesting to me how he gets kind of tongue-tied when he talks, almost a bit spacey, but his playing is always perfect; smooth, fast and effortless. Greatness.

Cool interview. Loved hearing him dial up different tones on the fly even with just the smaller pedal board. I bet it sounded amazing in that room!
  • @ShawnTubbs
Excellent work Robert! Brent Mason is just amazing!

I was a metalhead into the US Army, went to Ft Jackson, came out a huge Alan Jackson fan and still am. I remember trying to play some and being stunned at how hard it was for me. I'm going to be singing Chatahoochie all day now... And that's fine by me. Awesome history lesson for me because I always think of country as session guitarists and I don't know them. Page doesn't count right? I have a lot to learn. Aha he hates treble lol, that explains the mini.
  • @SaabJitsu
Great interview and welcome to mid TN. When Brent and Johnny Hiland were both in town no guitar was safe lol. Saw them together at Douglas Corner in 2015 and what a jam.

Thank you for being a good guy and a positive person. I don't ever comment on your videos, just enjoy the content. Take care Man
  • He is legend!!! There are tele players that play their thing and do it well. Brent plays everything well and has more styles put together like speaking 10 different languages…. His guitar mastery is without a doubt the number one recorded sounds in history…. Steve Lukather is his Rock equal…. Just phenomenal how he plays!!! God Bless You Brent. You make us all look at our guitars differently knowing we can always do more!! Thank You!!

Amazing series, Robert... what a gift this is to all of us guitar nerds. Thank you very much!

I remember talking to Sid Hudson on the phone for an hour when I was a kid. He took the time to answer all of my questions. Brent is my biggest guitar influence.
