Walz was an amazing pick, probably the most important, impactful, decision of Harris' political career. She may have saved our democracy.

Love this. The haircut story is such a metaphor of life for all of us, in my opinion. Get out of the comfort zone, reach out to each other and HELP---not hurt. I'm from the Minnesota district that Walz represented in Congress, I live near the school he taught at, & my Aunt is a good friend of his. It has been overwhelming to see the love for this man come pouring out all over this country! My heart feels like it will burst with pride for him and pride for my country. I didn't put much of the speech because you can watch that in better quality but this is what it was like to be at the Harris/Walz Rally in Las Vegas 8/10/2024. If I had to describe it I would say THUNDER AND LIGHTNING! In these videos you really can't feel the thunderous cheers and energy that all these people are giving out. It's so amazing, I've never seen anything like it in my life!

He has a good record on important issues. And that's the most important thing: that there's a ticket that knows Climate change/global warming is real and is from a party trying to do something about it despite constant obstructionism and nay-sayism from republicans; that harris/walz are the party of AFFORDABLE health care and common sense gun control; are the from the party that understands that clean water is the most important thing to protect from polluters because we all need it to live, to thrive, to grow our food and crops and care for our animals on the farms and in our homes; and that Harris/Walz are from the party that has finally done something about making billion dollar proft "corporations" (the ones SCOTUS ruled were 'people' ) pay something in taxes instead of putting it all on the middle class taxpayer. If they're "people" they shouldn't be priviliged people and get tax cuts - they should be paying their fair share.

My boys had that kind of amazing barber too. When he observed that we are Indigenous, he excitedly spoke of his love of Joseph Campbell and of Native storytelling. There was no trace of the pandering or virtue-signaling we experience today. Just sincere interest and community. He got them confidently through many a school picture day and dances. He became a beloved part of our family history. He passed in 2020 and our boys still fondly speak of their pal, Larry. There are many such great men out there. I’m so grateful to see their kind being elevated. 🥰
