** LOOK! LOOK AT ME! CORRECTIONS COMMENT ! ** I missed a few things in this video that are very important, I'm very sorry to the following for not including you in the video, that is my bad. 1. barbiegirls.com/ There actually is a barbiegirls.com/ rival project in the works that I glossed over in my research, you can check it out here: "www.flowcode.com/page/barbiegirlsrewritten" or at there YouTube @BarbieGirlsRewritten 2. Littlest Petshop Online There is also a lpso.com/ rewritten in development as well that I did not find originally, you can check it out here: "lpso-revived.carrd.co/#" or at there Youtube @lpso_revived 3. Nicktropolis Nicktropolis as well has a revival effort titled "Nicktropolis Timewarp" that can be found here "gamejolt.com/get/build?game=803261&build=1496726" I don't know how I glossed over these, but I did, witch is very shit. These are very cool, amazing efforts to bring back games that I and many of you loved. and they deserve recognition, so if you were a fan of any of these please go check these remakes out.

I miss the era of virtual worlds. I was obsessed. And when worlds shut down I felt heartbroken. There is so much lost media there.
  • @scumdawg3649
the hilarious thing about pixie hollow is that you used to only be able to make pixies. making a male character wasn't even an option. so boys would go on there and make a girl character with short hair and spam "IM A MAN" in the spawn area
  • @KittyPikaChu
Someone should make an index to keep a catalog of all these games so they’re not forgotten
  • @bebe44144
I haven't seen anyone mention it, but Monkey Quest seems to be a pretty obscure one and used to be one of my favorites for some reason. It was made by Nickelodeon and you would be able complete quests that were kinda like Super Mario levels. I have kinda faint memories of playing it, but I remember that I really loved it and played it pretty often. Literally anyone I've ever asked about it irl has never heard of it.
  • @Vampiislay
Missing ones that I loved as a kid: Stardoll, IMVU, WoozWorld, Wizard101, and GaiaOnline Wizard101 is still super strong rn too!!
  • @partygreatgirl
One of my absolute FAVORITE online games was Fantage. I played religiously everyday as a child & even convinced my parents to buy the subscription that gave you access to the special clothes & accessories in world. I got up to a very high level & did pretty much every special event they had. I played for years until I eventually outgrew the game & my parents had to cancel the subscription. The game shut down a few years ago but I think about it every now & then lol

“Im a boy. I do boy stuff” and “I was infamous among my parents” both got me
  • @Keegerator
I was entirely addicted to Free Realms. So many hours in that world. I miss it :'(
  • I’m just happy to see Pixie Hollow Online finally acknowledged for once. It feels like it’s the one virtual world Disney made that was never acknowledged by mainstream media. I don’t know what that game did to me in my youth to make me so obsessed with it but I am. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.
  • @threethirteen
meez, imvu, woozworld, and zwinky were some of the ones i miss the most 😭 unrestricted internet access as a child shaped my youth in good and bad ways
  • @ickyvicky4719
you mentioned LPSO, but before that, they had LPS VIPs (vips standing for virtual pets, i think). they were similar but slightly different, LPSO was a lot more expanded and i think it leaned into the multiplayer concept more (I don't know, I never played it) LPS VIPs were the same idea, you bought a pet and you could add it to your account. there were no customisation options for the pets, but you could name them, give them clothes and you could decorate your own room, as well as visit friends' rooms. there were several online areas to explore, and a few minigames to play. one was a rythm dancing game, i think? anyway, it's definitely lost media now, which is a shame.

I’m almost to the end and crying because there’s no StarDoll!! I LOVED StarDoll! You could talk on forums, create your apartment and decorate, play games, dress up your avatar. Ugh. That was the first thing I ever had a membership for!
  • @semanntha
Chit Chat City, OurWorld, Fantage, SmallWorlds, WoozWorld, and Zwinky. Along with a few others I forget the names for were my FAVOURITE Virtual Worlds. I miss them. R.I.P Childhood.
  • @hmer.
Shararam is still up because of the popularity of Kikoriki in Russia, and it's still played by a bunch of people. (I'm a Russian person myself, and I've played Shararam a lot in my childhood, it was just absolutely the same as club penguin, but with Kikoriki branding)
  • @BeliosRage
Bro seeing UB Funkys again was probably the most out of the blue nostalgia I ever got to experience. I had so many and I just now remembered how they looked like and especially how the world and minigames looked like. Thank you!
  • @Primiss
I showed up for bin weevils. I am the biggest bin weevils fan. It’s all I’ve played since my conception. Bin weevils put me to bed. Bin weevils fed me breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bin weevils 2 is coming
  • @roobycr
The fact you didn’t mention Fantage at all bro how did you miss that 😭😭😭
  • @aitsf
i loved animal jam so much. the houses, yard sales, trading, mini games, animal facts, parties, exclusive animal zones, the scamming… one of the most nostalgic things from my childhood i miss my friends on there so much 😭
  • @sam_ughh
This video was not only an incredible journey of nostalgia but strangely validating. When you mentioned “Mcworld” close to the beginning, I almost screamed because I have been talking about that game for years! There is ONE virtual world that I never see talked about that would be completely lost media if it weren’t for the YouTube channel; it’s called Zookazoo. It was to the point where I thought I made this game up. ALSO BECAUSE OF THIS VIDEO I WAS ABLE TO REMEMBER MUCHIZ. I had a Bratz one!!
