The ATLAS Experiment at CERN is the largest constructed particle collision detector in the world. Located 90m below ground, inside the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), here the frontiers of particle physics are being pushed and expanded. Over the last year the ATLAS Experiment underwent an upgrade in preparation for Run-3, giving us the rare opportunity to film without interruption to ongoing experimentation and research.

Special Thanks to Steven Goldfarb and the team at ATLAS and CERN for making this project possible.

Visuals are nice, but the music makes it. Always great choices!!

Wahnsinn wie riesig und komplex das ganze ist
  • Unusual, very cool and interesting. I really like the camera mouvements.

If you get this amount of detail in a VR-headseat when gaming, I will sell my soul.

Correct me if I am wrong but this giant thing that you are seeing is basically the detector. For the rest of the facility, the particles are being carried in tubing which has a diameter of a person and people can go around the circuit using bicycles.
  • Hi! How are you? I applaud your unwavering activities. I hope you have good health and things for the rest of the week.

Great! Hope to see more videos like this one!

Bravo bravo. Those who worked on this film, and on / in that facility are artists. Esp. the people who mop the floor and clean all that conduit yikes.

Very nice Martin keep on doing those lapses, I hope you'll lapsing our dream, the Einstein Telescope in the future 300m down the Dutch-Belgium border.

Amazing, need 3d video of this in 4k or 8k, for full immersive experience. Please make 3d videos.
