Up next: top 10 power saws to create your own Magic closet and/or other related Magic furniture
  • The funny thing is that if Ultra-Pro or Ultimate Guard would build something like this Stanley box, it would cost between $50-$70. Stanley be like "$17".

Somewhere a Stanely sales exec is scratching their heads and wondering why they are selling so well all of a sudden and why are non construction retailers buying their products. LMAO

Please be careful using camera bags. Thieves recognize camera bags. We had one stolen in the Atlanta Airport, the security guards figure that the thieves hoped for a nice expensive camera. Turns out they got diapers. That being said, be careful.

professor, I think you should do more "everyday products" that can be used for TCG videos. its quite amazing what can be used for TCG storage and/or use. :D
  • Ok, I’ve just gotta say that the Prof came in seriously clutch with this one. I decided to go to my LGS the other evening to play commander, but my commander decks were in very awkward, not-easy-to-move storage containers. I had roughly four hours to somehow figure out how to transport ~12 commander decks easily. Then I remembered the Stanley Container Thingy from this video, and it turned out my father had one in his garage that he wasn’t even using. Without this video, I would’ve probably rocked up to my LGS with an arm full of boxes. Outstanding.

I've been using the Stanley case for years now and can confirm it's fantastic. Only thing buyers should be wary of is the fact that each compartment isn't completely flat on the bottom. There is a slight indent in the middle of each one that can slightly damage the sides of sleeves when used for long periods of time. I avoided this problem by cutting thin foam pieces to make the bottom flat or by leaving the cards in some sort of simple box (ex Dragon Shield sleeve box). Apart from that I've loved how durable and convenient it's been, would easily recommend.

Im probably gonna buy that camera bag not because i need it for magic card but because I need a better camera bag.

I tried getting into MTG again a while back, but just couldn’t get into it. On the plus side, I remembered seeing the Stanley organizer on this video and it solved another serious organization problem I had been having for a while, so thanks! 👍🏻

First off I love you professor you tell it how it is and always have the gamers in heart! Also, I'm a contractor and we have two of the Stanley boxes at the bottom of our toolboxes. We are always throwing things on them and they still work after 3-5 years of HEAVY use. Still never thought of it as being used as a tcg holder. Today, I bought a 3-drawer plastic cabinet from Walmart for $18 and I use it to hold the pirate lab 3 compartment foam. Fits perfectly and has room for extra deck boxes or anything else even play mats.

This review is refreshing, please do more every day items that we can use for magic!
  • @Guavamente
Amazing work professor! We need many more videos like this, catering to people who can't reach a local game store or looking for affordable quality items! Bravo!
  • @APyralis
Sales for Stanley (and other) products like this increase ten fold. New market niche! Gamers.
  • @rickyk9088
I've been using the amazon dslr bag since November 2014 for magic cards, absolutely love it 🤙
  • After watching this video, I went right to my local Lowe’s and picked up the Stanley organizer. Being able to have so many MtG and Pokémon cards in one nice case is a huge plus for when I’m gaming on the go. Thank you for posting quality videos and keeping a passion for the games going!
