I love how in every interview I've seen they're always giving props to the VFX team!! Love the show and can't wait for season 2!!
  • @NumTecho
I love the twist that they did with zuko fleet.
  • @Manulajes
Critics are too harsh on the show giving it a 7, for someone that fell in love with the animated series, I think they nailed this live action! I couldnt name any live action that actually lived up to its animated counterpart

Seeing the native community was really surprising and exciting! Growing up I never see natives in big Hollywood shows, other than “historical” movies and I’m happy to see the representation in one of my favorite animations!
  • Now realizing how wicked Fire Lord Ozai is.... I really didn't give thought to the fact that Zuko was banished when he was only 14 until he mentioned it. So young with such burden. I now fully understand his desperation and i love Uncle Iroh even more for standing by him ❤

7:50 Paul Sun-Hyung Lee is like the IRL version of uncle Iroh. I've only seen him talking good things about their work partners (especially Dallas Liu). Dallas, Daniel Dae Kim, and Dallas Liu, alongside other actors, carried the entire season. Which I hope keep getting at least the original story of Aang vs Ozai. Because I wanna see Daniel's Ozai vs a developed version of Gordon's Aang that started as a naive 10-12 y/o with a big burden on his shoulders, which is being the inheritor of the bridge between the spirits and the humans. But in this case, Gordon itself had no expierence carrying the burden of playing the main character of one of the most loved cartoons from the 2000s. My eyes would tearbend if I get to see the end of the live-action version of the Legend of the last Airbender.

  • @HeliOpal
loved the live action adaptation can't wait for season 2&3
  • Wow, I've watched it already, and it's amazing! Fantastic live-action adaptation! I can't wait for the next season! It's action, drama, fantasy, and comedy—all in one! They're all amazing! Gordon is a brilliant actor for his young age, and he is so cute; he has a million-dollar smile too. Dallas is a versatile actor, he's amazing actor. Kiawentiio and Ian are amazing too. Paul, and Daniel are very good too. All the cast members are really doing a great job.

Honestly i like the live action, ive been a fan since i was 11 and im not even mad about it. If i want something easily predicted i watch the cartoon

They need to let the actor who plays Sokka let loose. They sooo should j let him improv away I trust him I feel like they kept him a bit too serious or flat at times this season and he can easily elevate every episode. Iroh also killllled it.
