Is Christie Sides going to be fired? The Fever needs to value the star they have.

    Sides let the best defender in the league go and kept number 3? Look at her stats, she is the worst basketball player in the entire league. So yes, Sides needs to be sidelined.

    Christie Sides doesn't know what she wants. She demands the Clark focus more on midrange shots. She determines who should take shots at the end of a close game, then criticizes Clark for not shooting more. She doesn't provide any sort of helpful guidance that might motivate Clark's teammates to enable greater use of her immense talents. I fear the Fever are a lost cause as long as Sides is at the helm.

    Clark is special and is the reason why I and millions around the world are tuning in to the WNBA. The league was not ready for her, the referees were not ready for her, and her team was not ready for her. While it is painful to watch the level in ineptitude that is around Clark, I still enjoy watching her play.

    The level of play that Caitlin Clark is bringing to this team has overwhelmed this coach. She cannot manage all that Caitlin Clark is bringing to this team. This coach has failed to demonstrate a winning strategy. My suggestions are No. 1 replace this coach. No. 2 let Caitlyn Clark run the offense when she's on the floor.

    CC has such great court vision, passing, and conditioning to run all day. Unfortunately, coach wants to dial her down to mediocrity.

    Sides job is to prevent Clark from making rookie of the year - that's it - that is the job she's been given.

    If you haven’t noticed, CC isn’t trying to control or carry the team. She has enough hate to know that’s not how you build trust and make friends… she wants to play as a team, but no one is stepping up to play to each others strengths and Sides is complicit in Indiana’s struggle for cohesiveness. She doesn’t know how to coach or plan strategy utilizing each players strength yet constantly blames everyone else for her incompentencies.

    I hope she will be fired. Her lack of coaching ability is hurting the team. She plays players that disrupt the offense and can't even play defense. She has no ability to adapt game plans on the fly to adjust to what the other team is doing.

    I love watching CC. But, so many of these players think that showing up in the WNBA is their objective, not attached to any objective results. Lack of commitment to defense and rebounding is obvious. When a 6' 150lb player often leads in rebounds... it tells you what you need to know.
