The modern game seems to be based upon an offensive design of pushing the ball inside, then dishing it out beyond the 3-pt. line to an open stand-still jump-shooter, who fakes jacking up a shot, then passes to an even more wide-open shooter, who then has a great look at a 3-pointer. Miami did that over and over and over again. The key seemed to be their ability to drive the ball inside to begin the play. Boston tended to collapse on the driver and leave guys open back across the 3-pt. line. I'm not sure how you defend against an avalanche of made three-pointers. Try harder?
