  • "Raw, stomping primitive rock and roll" She summed it up perfectly.
  • I love their philosophy. They were just out to play fun music. Some people got it and some people didn't. And they didn't care either way.

“Cramps are the mutant strain of rock n roll”. holy shit what a great description. rest in power lux 🖤⚡️

It's was my honor to see them live...rest in peace Lux, your music lives on through me while I'm still here on earth.

Goddamnit I idolize these two, real class acts. saw them several times, the last time not long before Lux died... RIP you freakin caveman!

Lux reminding me visually of Lurch, lol. I remember reading Vincent Gallo (the film director) talking about going to Lux and Ivy's for dinner, and Linda and Johnny Ramone were there. He said "it was like the Munsters meets the Adams Family"!

The two most important bands to come out of New York with the Ramones in the cramps!
  • Rock n rock with humour, heart and the dirtiest sound ever. Luv it.
  • Lucky to have seen The Cramps 10+ times. Several of those were the infamous San Francisco Halloween shows. Such good times and I’m so grateful. I didn’t realize the significance back then. I hit Costco today and the elderly lady that checked my receipt on the way out commented on my Cramps logo shirt, saying, “Oh my! What a cute shirt!” I’m still super confused. Ha.

Lord, 1990 was so long ago. It was like being stuck in the 1980’s
  • Lux & Ivy, clearly more intelligent than they were credited for, especially by the people calling for their art to be censored. - Those people who take things so literally, unable &/or willing to read subtext & humour, the irony being that The Cramps were the least bigoted, the anti-bigoted out of the arguing camps. The Cramps, a truly Class act.
