Skiing With Kids | Canadian Adventure Family

Published 2023-12-07
Skiing together as a family brings us so much joy. It's absolutely amazing how much 1 year makes a difference in how much the kids can handle⛷️

In this video we ski together as a family for the first time this winter. Luca continues to display lots of grit and resilience and Adia also handles a high speed crash on a groomer.

The season is just getting going and there's a lot more mountain adventures to come!

Thanks for watching.

In this video I was mainly using the new Insta360 Ace Pro to record all the action. Affiliate link here:

I just brought my daughter skiing for the first time yesterday. It was one of the best days of my life. Watching your family’s videos with her was a major inspiration to both of us. Thank you ❤!

AAbsolutely love Adia's abilities to learn how to master skills by experimenting with how much she can leancinto her turns or how she can lean forward. She seems taller, so even trying to ski with a new ski spirt can be a bit challenging. Absolutely love your kids. Wish I had a dad like you. You are so patient.
  • She is just too much for words !! Always makes my heart ♥️ smile just watching her !!!!
  • YYAAAAAYYYYY ❣️❣️❣️ It's time to ski up a storm. I just love the conversation: "Don't think you should go there... Hidden rocks, tricky!" And true to form, NO little person listens!!! 😂😂😂

So glad you all are back on the slopes! Fun fun fun! Oh Adia’s giggles, always good for a smile, or laugh here! I know that the first few days everyone is just trying to get back their “snow feet” again, but after that, it is going to be so fun to see the progress your kids make this season! Welcome back to the snow journals!

Hay have you guys heard about insta 360s Ace Pro? It's an 8K resolution camera and it definitely can add extra quality to your content. Also when you want to crop some stuff to zoom in it maintains the quality quite well.

Early season snow snakes are the worst!
  • Which Faction skis is August riding on? Funny story, but my son who just turned 8 watched all of August's videos last year and looked up to him. He wanted Head skis because of August, but I got him Faction Prodigy skis as a gift as I couldn't find a competitive Head ski in appropriate length (125-130cm). So, I feel like this was a Dad win as I can show him that now he has the same skis (brand) as August. Love your videos. We're not as fortunate to live near the snow, but I am able to get my little one out for 30-40 days on the slopes per year! I've got some videos on my channel if interested, but my kiddo really looks up to August, it's great for him to look up to someone that's 1-2 years older!

Wow, amazing skills. Can't wait to see when you teach them kayaking. Btw did you connect the mic directly to insta360? Or you did it in post? Which mic?
