10 Stress-Free Freezer Meals // Large Family Friendly

Published 2024-03-21
After my first baby was born (a mere 15 years ago!), I was completely overwhelmed caring for her ... and this only intensified as I prepared to return to work part-time. I remember thinking, "How am I going to manage making meals on top of everything else?". I didn't want to turn to convenience foods for a number of reasons (cost, nutrition). I sat down at my kitchen table (while bouncing a sweet, but needy baby) and split up my homemaking tasks throughout the week -- much like Ma Ingalls 😉 or modern day At Home Plain and Simple. Designating a chunk of time each week to knock out kitchen tasks helped me immensely, and continues to today!

Are you in a season of overwhelm? Come along with me as we make 10 healthy meals in under 2 hours. Anyone can make these!

If you like this kind of thing, ask me about my wellness group that I co-lead! We are constantly sharing recipes + strategies to help with meal planning & fitness, among other things! Comment MEAL PREP below for details 🥰.

Try the ginger in the squeeze bottles in Aldi’s spice section. Better ginger flavor than ground, anyway!

Zoodles are delicious, and you can combine them with yellow squash "squoodles." Don't overcook; just 45 seconds to a minute will do. A little butter and olive oil, some seasonings. Yum!
  • Thank you for this encouragement and idea! I plan to add some freezer meals to our freezer during the month of April!
  • It looked good. Next time, please tell us what ingredients you are putting in. We didn't get to see any of the soup or sloppy joes being made. I do love freezer meals. Very convenient.

You didn’t share the ingredients you used. Looks amazing but I was lost.
