  • Once upon a time, me in teenage years decided to make rose water, out of a few rose petals and didn't use a preservative and thought that storing it inside the fridge without a lid was a good idea. Well, it wasn't. I got myself some dermatitis and needed a steroid ointment to treat for months. So nowadays I follow the protocols that you teach and it has been good so far. Thank you!

    - Glycols are good for addressing tackiness of glycerin, 2g of propanediol or propylene glycol for each 1g of glycerin. - Ethoxydiglycol is also good for this (see skinceuticals vitamic C), but it is pricey, hard to find and regulated in EU to 2.6% in leave-on products. - Also, panthenol is very tacky, even more even than glycerin, so better to use it in wash-off products, like face hydro masks. - Polymers and film-formers are good in addressing tackiness. They are used in gels (like aloe gel) and create a film on skin

Yes. I buy food grade rose water and brew green tea and chill them. Excellent toning mist

As usual amazing presentation !!! kisses from Ottawa
  • @fareloz
Facial mists are one of the most overpriced products (maybe only thermal waters are beating them). Consisting almost completely of water and glycerin they cost as a good serum.
