No matter how skilled the lost media community is at finding content, there will always be a handful of topics that are kept with the original owners and never to be seen by the public!

  • I do love how even Tom Kenny is like "I want this leaked because I want to hear it as much as everyone else"

i think projectile pooping onto 3 little kids should be considered a major crime, idk why the network was only sued and not those guys. they defo need to look at their search history

The "Dude This Sucks" incident never fails to horrify and upset me.
  • After every sentence spoken about "Dude, this sucks" my jaw dropped lower and lower

How that Shower Rangers idea even made it onto paper is beyond me... My god 2000 was a different ride

I think an interesting topic would be "Pieces of Lost Media That Were Never Really Lost". A key example that comes to mind is the uncensored version of Shoujo Tsubaki, where it had attained this mythical status as something that would never be found, but then someone decided to show the director the version released on DVD in France, and he confirmed that this was the uncensored version all along, with the only missing segments being an intro and intermission bits that were only meant to be shown at live screenings.

Ok, but wouldn’t the “Shower Rangers” be put on a sex offender list for what they did? Or at least serve a jail sentence?

The majority of canceled first party GBA and GC games are like "Squirty Scrimblo was shown at Spaceworld 2002 for 17 minutes before everyone who played it was shot. The game was canceled due to it's requirement of 4 GameCubes, 4 GameCube LAN adapters, 4 LAN cables, the canceled GameCube Network Switch, 4 copies of Squirty Scrimblo, and 16 GameBoy Advance systems each with their own GameCube Link Cable. The director of Squirty Scrimblo was last seen on October 8 2003, walking into the ocean while fully clothed."

  • That Shower Rangers act is a flat out crime against children. Regardless of their motives, that was basically a sex crime. Even if they were adults, that is still traumatizing. Hopefully they're rotting in prison.

It's definately the most frustrating type of lost media when most can't release it due to the creators being reluctant to release it, or due to fear of copyright. I would imagine Mess-O Blues Johnny Bravo pilot would be one of them

All I'm gonna say is nothing is impossible. People said that the Wicked Witch episode would never release, and it was leaked online, decades after it was vaulted
  • I’ve been into lost media on and off for a few years, and I gotta say, you’re the best lost media Youtuber that I’ve seen. Everyone else focuses on making lost media seem like something scary/creepy rather than simply interesting. I can watch your videos at night without problems. I appreciate that! :)
  • "yo mtv craps" man somebody was waiting their whole life for this headline
  • The fact that Swarthe began producing Uncle Walt during highschool is so fitting, because drawing (or in this case, animating) messed up versions of popular cartoon characters is the most highschooler thing ever.
  • @FrenkTheJoy
In a way, "Rick and Morty are the new Jared from Subway" didn't age poorly at all!
  • @mightyfilm
I'm sure most cartoons have a lot of recorded, but not available to the public, swear filled bloopers that we'll never have access to. I know a couple from the original Thundercats cartoon that floated around since the late 90's online (including the immortal line "what the fuck is a samoflange"), and at certain conventions they screen some Lupin III outtakes. I bet there are many unknown treasures to be found outside of just the Sailor Mouth Spongebob episode.
  • When you started talking about the Subway commercial I assumed it would have been made after Jared was outed and that was the entire point.

There is a wholeee landmine of lost Vocaloid music, since it’s literally a program that lets anyone have vocals for their music there’s been many people who have ended up deleting their music for whatever reason. Not to mention lost voices themselves
