"Luna? Are you okay?" Celestia called through the door. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little dizzy." Luna nodded, but that just made it worse. "As long as you're okay. We need you for the summer sun celebration tonight." Celestia called. "Okay Celestia." Luna responded. A few hours later, Luna walked onto the balcony to stand beside her sister. "Are you ready?" Celestia muttered. "If you're not feeling well you don't have to do the special plan. We can save it for next year." "No, no, I'm ready. I'm fine. Let's go." Luna muttered. Celestia shrugged and motioned for Luna to start the celebration. Luna flew up to the moon and began lowering it, but the was seized by a terrible pain in her side. Her wings slowed and stopped and she began plummeting toward the ground. "Luna!" Celestia screamed, tears flowing down her face. "Fly!" Luna closed her eyes and felt a sharp stab between her wings. She screamed out in pain, then went silent. Celestia flew up to see if Luna was alright. "No, no, no!" She sobbed, seeing Luna's lifeless body hung on the moon. Before Luna's eyes shut for good, she saw Celestia sobbing. 'I'm sorry Celestia. Take your time. Don't hurry to see me.'

This is probably gonna sound bad... But now I know how Luna made blood moons.

Luna hung by her stomach, frozen in a haunting pose. Celestia entered the main room to find her sister, bleeding heavily, blood staining the carpet. "LUNA!" Celestia screamed as she ran to the corpse hanging from the large, fake moon in the center of the room. Celestia quickly removed the body, resting it on the ground. She sobbed as her sister's hair began to fade. The magical flowing died down and Celestia whipped her head around. "SHOW YOURSELF!" she screamed into the room. Hoofs were heard, but not seen. A voice taunted but had no host. Celestia's scream rang through the halls and corridors. Guards ran to the large room Celestia was in to find her burnt, charred body. They gasped at the sight of the two princesses laying dead on the ground. "Who's next...?" an eerie voice echoed in the ears of each guard. Who does the eerie voice belong to?
